The upcoming American science fiction action movie, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, directed by Josh Friedman, stars Wes Ball and is the fourth in the Planet of the Apes reboot series. The film follows War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) and stars Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, and William H. Macy.
Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, and work on a new Planet of the Apes movie began in April 2019. Ball was confirmed as the writer and director in December.
